Elisha H. and Estella Ziegler Baumgartner Scholarship

The Elisha H. and Estella Ziegler Baumgartner Scholarship provides financial support to four full-time sophomore students at Eastern Illinois University, with one award designated for each of the following departments: Economics, History, Political Science, and Sociology. Recipients must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale and demonstrate financial need as determined by the university's Financial Aid Office. The scholarship is renewable in subsequent years provided the recipient continues to meet the eligibility criteria, including maintaining the required 2.0 GPA. Students are automatically considered for this award based on their completed General Application through the Eastern Illinois University Scholarships portal.
