Elizabeth Babbitt Memorial Scholarship

The Elizabeth Babbitt Memorial Scholarship is awarded to undergraduate English majors at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee who demonstrate both financial need and academic excellence. This scholarship is intended to support students who are enrolled full-time and have declared or intend to declare English as their major. Preference is given to first-year and sophomore students, helping to support them early in their academic journey. The award is announced in the spring semester and is paid in the following fall semester for awardees who remain enrolled at UWM that fall. This memorial scholarship honors Elizabeth Babbitt and is funded by her family to support the next generation of English scholars.
