About this opportunity
The Elizabethan Theatre Trust Ladies' Committee Scholarship was established in 1973 by a donation from The Elizabethan Trust Ladies Committee to assist outstanding students that demonstrate talent in Piano, Voice or Orchestral Instruments at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. The scholarship is available to both undergraduate and postgraduate students enrolled or with an unconditional offer to study full-time at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music at the University of Sydney.
The scholarship is awarded based on academic merit, portfolio and/or performance, and for postgraduate research applicants, research achievements and potential. Applicants may be required to attend an interview. No application is necessary as eligible students will be considered for this scholarship as part of their admission application to the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
The scholarship value and duration are determined by the Dean of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and will be stipulated in the scholarship offer letter to the successful recipient(s). For coursework students, the annual payment will be made in two equal instalments after the census date of each semester. For postgraduate research students, the value of the Scholarship will be paid as a stipend on a fortnightly basis. The Scholarship is offered subject to the availability of funds.
