Elks Legacy Awards Scholarship

The Elks Legacy Awards are renewable scholarships offered by the Elks National Foundation to children and grandchildren of Elks members. The scholarship provides $1,000 per year and is renewable for up to four years, totaling up to $4,000 in support. The program recognizes high school seniors who are descendants of current Elks members in good standing. Applicants must be children, grandchildren, step-children, step-grandchildren, or legal wards of a living Elk who joined the Order on or before a specific date and has paid Lodge dues for the last two contiguous years. The scholarship can be applied to accredited US American schools, colleges, or universities, with special provisions for applicants from Panama, Puerto Rico, and the Philippines. Recipients are required to complete an act of service with a Lodge at least three times during their collegiate career to strengthen their connection to the Elks Family. The standardized test requirement has been waived for the 2026 contest, and applications must be submitted online by the deadline.
