Ellen Healy Award

The Ellen Healy Award is designated for graduate students in the Department of History at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee who have not received any other award, including teaching assistantships or research assistantships. The award honors the late Ellen Healy, an alumna and former teaching assistant in the Department. Students with an up-to-date Panther Scholarship Portal General Application and the College of Letters & Science Scholarships and Awards Application will be considered in spring each year. No additional or separate application is required. Awards are announced in spring for the following school year, so students graduating that same spring or summer are not eligible. The award amount varies and is provided through the UWM Foundation Scholarships program.
