Ellen Waite-Franzen Scholarship

The Ellen Waite-Franzen Scholarship is awarded to select School of Information Studies (SOIS) new and continuing graduate students at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. This scholarship supports graduate students enrolled in a Master's degree program, with a strong preference for students enrolled in the Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) program within SOIS. The scholarship recognizes both academic achievement and financial need, requiring a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and demonstrated financial need as determined by FAFSA. Recipients must maintain satisfactory academic progress in the BSIST program and be registered for a minimum of 3 INFOST credits by May 1.
