Ellis and Helena Humphrey Scholarship Fund

The Ellis and Helena Humphrey Scholarship Fund was established in 1959 by Dr. Rufus R. Humphrey to support students in the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo. This scholarship is designed to provide financial assistance to students demonstrating financial need. Applicants must be enrolled in the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and must complete the FAFSA to demonstrate their financial need. Recipients are selected based on their academic standing, financial circumstances, intended career plans upon graduation, and research experience in the biomedical sciences field.
