About This Opportunity
The Elmer and Ona Hansen Memorial Scholarship is open to all Alberta rural youth and is designed to help rural farm youth who must leave home to pursue a post-secondary education or trade. Offered through 4-H Alberta, this scholarship supports ambitious youth who pursue higher education. The scholarship is available to first-year students at acknowledged post-secondary institutions in Alberta who are rural farm youth needing to relocate for their education. Applicants must be Alberta rural farm young persons who have graduated from high school, are no older than 25 years of age, and have not previously started or completed a post-secondary program.
