Elmer G. MacDonald Memorial Scholarship

The Elmer G. MacDonald Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a second year student in the Veterinary Medicine Program at the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) at the University of Prince Edward Island. This scholarship recognizes students who have performed well in the Dairy portion of the first year courses and who have had prior involvement in the dairy industry with a commitment to continue in the field. Preference may also be given to a student involved in the Bovine Club at AVC. The scholarship is specifically offered to students from the Atlantic Provinces, with priority given to students from Prince Edward Island. This award honors students who demonstrate both academic excellence in dairy-related veterinary coursework and practical commitment to the dairy industry.
