ELSEF Scholarships Scheme

The ELSEF Scholarship Scheme is designed to support students who attend East London Skills and Employment Federation (ELSEF) member colleges with extra financial support while they embark on their studies at the University of East London. The scheme aims to enable local school and college students to contribute positively to the University and access the social and economic benefits of graduate-level employment opportunities through the development of higher-level skills. Successful students receive a £1,000 cash payment in their first year of study. The scholarship is a one-off award for the first year only and is paid in a single installment. Students must be progressing directly from an ELSEF member college and starting their first undergraduate degree at UEL. Recipients are expected to commit to supporting the University through ambassadorial work, including providing testimonials and promotional materials.
