Elspeth Young Memorial Grant

The Elspeth Young Memorial Grants have been made possible by the generous bequest from Dr Elspeth Young to provide financial support to Indigenous Australian undergraduate and graduate students at the Australian National University. This support is directed to costs necessary and incidental to studies, but not including any fees. Eligible students may apply and be approved to receive funding for education-related expenses such as laptops, headphones, textbooks, field trips, and other educational costs. There is limited funding available, so it is not always possible for the committee to approve, or approve in full, all applications. Selection is made on the basis of application and financial need, with preference given to students who have not previously applied or been awarded the grant. If successful, payments are made directly to a student's bank account.
