About this opportunity

EMBO Installation Grants support group leaders establishing laboratories in countries participating in the scheme to strengthen the life sciences there. In the 2026 call, grants are available in Croatia, Czechia, Estonia, Hungary, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Poland, Portugal and Türkiye. Installation Grantees become part of an international network of more than 800 current and former EMBO Young Investigators, Installation Grantees and Global Investigators. The program provides financial support and career development resources to scientists who are moving to host countries that are part of the Installation Grant scheme, helping them establish their independent research groups.
