About this opportunity
The Emergency Services Scholarship Fund was established by the Drayton Valley Volunteer Fire Fighters in June 2014 to assist high school students in the Drayton Valley or Brazeau County area entering an area of study in emergency services. The purpose of the scholarship is to provide students seeking a career in emergency service professions with funding for education in firefighting services or fire sciences, emergency medical services, emergency management, and/or law enforcement. The scholarship consists of a certificate and a $500 award issued to qualified recipients. Recipients are recognized on the Drayton Valley Community Foundation's website and publications, as well as at the Emergency Services Annual Guns and Hoses ball.
