Emerging Leaders Scholarship

The Emerging Leaders Scholarship recognizes students who have demonstrated leadership within Honor Society Chapters or other organizations. This scholarship awards $1,000 to students who can articulate the importance of leadership and its relevance to their academic and personal goals. The program operates on a rolling deadline basis with monthly application cycles, giving students who apply earlier a greater chance of winning. Applicants must submit an essay describing how leadership is important and how their leadership positions (including chapter officer positions, founding roles, or leadership outside of Honor Society) have been valuable. The scholarship emphasizes both academic achievement and the relevance of leadership experience to the applicant's major, life goals, or career aspirations. Recipients are selected based on a rubric scoring system that evaluates relevance and academic achievement, with random selection used in case of ties.
