Emily Sereth Lieberman Memorial Prizes in Classics

The Emily Sereth Lieberman Memorial Prizes in Classics are awarded to a student on the basis of the highest academic standing in a 400-level Greek course or an upper-level Classics course with a focus on Ancient Greece, provided the student's records are otherwise satisfactory. This award recognizes exceptional academic achievement in classical studies with a particular emphasis on Ancient Greek language and culture. The prize is endowed by the family and friends of the late Mrs. Lieberman and is administered through the Faculty of Arts at the University of Alberta. The award may be given to a convocating student, making it suitable for students completing their studies.
