Empowering Futures Scholarship

The Empowering Futures Scholarship is a partnership between Imperial Business School and MUFG Investor Services, a division of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, Inc. (MUFG), one of the world's largest banks. This scholarship is designed to support academically outstanding students who come from financially disadvantaged backgrounds or are first-generation students. The award provides full tuition fees and a maintenance grant to support living expenses for the MSc Finance programme. Beyond financial support, the scholarship offers recipients access to mentoring and coaching from experienced leaders within MUFG Investor Services to enhance their personal and professional development. John Sergides, Chief Executive of MUFG Investor Services and an alumnus of Imperial College London, is deeply engaged with this initiative, passionately supporting educational access and opportunity. The scholarship is aimed at empowering future leaders by making quality education more accessible to students who demonstrate a track record of professional excellence and achievement through internships and/or work experience.
