About this opportunity
The Empowering Teacher-Educator Scholarship is granted annually to International and/or Indigenous students who have been accepted or conditionally accepted (based on language requirements) to a Faculty of Education graduate program at the University of Prince Edward Island. Applicants must have at least three years of successful teaching and/or educational administration experience or equivalent. Recipients are required to identify their career aspirations and demonstrate how their education and this scholarship will help them give back to society. The Faculty of Education Empowering Teacher-Educator Scholarship was founded in 2018 to aid promising International and Indigenous graduate students undertaking graduate studies in Education at UPEI so that they may further develop as educational leaders to make a difference and contribute to their communities.
