About This Opportunity

The Endowed Dr J & Dr M Fulcher Scholarship in Law was established in 2015 and is maintained by the income of an endowment fund supported by donations from Jonathan and Michele Fulcher. This scholarship provides financial support to law students at the University of Queensland who demonstrate financial need and academic merit. The scholarship is primarily intended for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, but in the absence of eligible Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants, it may be awarded to other eligible candidates. The scholarship supports students enrolled full-time in the Bachelor of Laws (Honours), an associated dual degree program, or any postgraduate coursework program administered by the School of Law. Recipients are selected based on academic achievements, financial disadvantage, personal qualities including leadership potential, and other relevant information. The scholarship provides at least $2,250 in financial support for one year.
