Enebakk Kulturpris

The Enebakk Cultural Prize (Kulturprisen) is awarded biennially to individuals or organizations that have made a significant contribution to cultural life in Enebakk municipality. The prize recognizes exceptional cultural efforts above and beyond the ordinary, and is open to both professional and amateur cultural workers. Recipients must have a connection to Enebakk and have worked to promote cultural activities in the municipality. The award consists of a monetary amount and a diploma, or optionally an artistic work if the recipient prefers. The prize has been awarded since 1986 to artists, musicians, athletes, teams, associations, and organizations. Winners are selected by the municipal Life Committee (LIV-utvalget) based on written nominations from committee members, organizations, associations, and individuals. The prize is typically presented at the last municipal council meeting before summer break.
