Energy Faculty Award

Established in 2012, the Energy Faculty Award is available to a full-time student in the 1st or 2nd year of Process & Power Engineering at the Lloydminster campus of Lakeland College. The award recognizes students who have satisfied the requirements for a 2-year diploma and demonstrate exemplary characteristics. Recipients must be a positive example for the class, display a positive attitude and respect towards course, faculty and fellow students, and show the desire to succeed not only through academics but through an outstanding work ethic. The award also requires students to provide positive influence on lab groups, come to class every day ready to work, and provide constructive comments and questions to instructors. This $500 award supports students in the Energy sector who demonstrate both academic achievement and strong character qualities that contribute to a positive learning environment.
