Energy Futures Lab Excellence Scholarship

The Energy Futures Lab Excellence Scholarship is aimed at helping Home (UK) students from underrepresented groups access the Sustainable Energy Futures course at Imperial College London. This scholarship covers the full home tuition fee and a bursary of up to £9,000 (with the page also mentioning up to £7,500), which, in combination with postgraduate loans, is expected to enable a candidate to fully fund this one-year full-time course. The scholarship is awarded on academic merit and targets students who meet specific widening participation criteria, including those from care backgrounds, low-income families, deprived areas, those with disabilities, refugees, students of African or Caribbean heritage, carers, and estranged students. One award is available for the 2025/2026 academic year for the MSc Sustainable Energy Futures programme in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Applicants must first receive an admission offer for the course, then submit a statement outlining how they meet the scholarship criteria by the June 1, 2025 deadline.
