About this opportunity
The Energy Futures Lab Widening Participation Scholars scholarship is designed to support students from underrepresented backgrounds pursuing the MSc in Sustainable Energy Futures at Imperial College London. This scholarship aims to increase diversity and inclusion within the energy sector by providing comprehensive financial support to eligible students. The scholarship covers the full home tuition fee and provides a bursary of up to £7,500 to help with living costs during the course of study.
Eligibility is focused on widening participation and includes students who have been in public care, come from low-income backgrounds, are from deprived areas of the UK, have disabilities, are refugees or asylum seekers, are of African or Caribbean origin, are carers, or are estranged from their families. The scholarship specifically targets prospective students who will be enrolling in the full-time MSc Sustainable Energy Futures program.
Applicants must first apply for admission to the MSc Sustainable Energy Futures course and receive an offer before completing the scholarship application. Shortlisted candidates may be invited for an interview, and decisions are typically made by the end of July. This scholarship is not available to continuing students.
