About this opportunity

The Energy Futures Lab Widening Participation Scholarship is aimed at helping Home (UK) students from underrepresented groups access Imperial College London's MSc Sustainable Energy Futures course. This scholarship provides full home tuition fee coverage and a bursary of up to £9,000, which, in combination with postgraduate loans, is expected to enable a candidate to fully fund this one-year full-time course. The scholarship is specifically designed to support students from various underrepresented backgrounds, including those who have been in public care, come from low-income backgrounds, are from deprived areas of the UK, have disabilities, are refugees or asylum seekers, are of African or Caribbean origin, are carers, or are estranged from their families. Only one scholarship is available for the 2025/2026 academic year.

Review process

Applicants must first apply online for the MSc Sustainable Energy Futures course and receive an admission offer. After receiving an offer, candidates email a statement outlining how they meet the scholarship criteria. Shortlisted applicants may be invited for interview via MS Teams.
