Engineering Scholarships

Birmingham City University is offering scholarships worth £1,000 for undergraduate students joining Engineering courses starting in September 2026. These scholarships are available for all UK fee payers enrolling on eligible courses for the first time in the 2026/27 academic year. The scholarship is automatically awarded to eligible students who successfully secure a place and enrol at BCU. Recipients will receive the scholarship in three instalments at the end of December 2026, March 2027, and May 2027. There is no separate application process required – students only need to apply to study at BCU on an eligible course. The scholarship is available for two specific BEng (Hons) courses: Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Students must provide bank details by the end of November 2026 and remain enrolled on their course to receive all payments.
