About This Opportunity
This is a fully funded PhD studentship based in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Imperial College London. The project focuses on engineering single-domain antibodies with the aim of developing robust antibody leads with drug-like properties. Activities include molecular biology, protein expression and purification, biophysical binding measurements, and computational analysis. Students will work in a multidisciplinary lab environment with tailored training and mentoring across experimental and computational techniques. The studentship is available for the 2026/2027 academic year with a start date in October 2026.
