About this opportunity
English and Creative Writing at Goldsmiths, University of London is awarding a limited number of competitive fee-waiver bursaries for the 2025-26 academic session. The fee waivers provide a 30% reduction in tuition fees for students enrolled in specific MA programmes within English and Creative Writing. International candidates are eligible to apply, though the value of the award will be equal to home fees. These fee-waiver bursaries are awarded in addition to the Goldsmiths Excellence and Alumni fee-waivers.
Eligible students must be applying to one of three MA programmes: MA Black British Literature, MA Creative and Life Writing, or MA Literary Studies. The awards are competitive and merit-based, not need-based. Successful applicants will demonstrate significant academic potential, with evidence of distinction and diligence in prior BA studies.
Applicants must submit a letter of application (less than 500 words) outlining their choice of MA programme, explaining how the MA will help achieve their intellectual, academic, or creative goals, and making a strong case for their ability to complete the MA programme with excellent results. New students must also provide two academic references. All fee waivers are awarded via competition based on merit as defined by the specified criteria.
