English and Creative Writing Scholarships

Birmingham City University is offering scholarships worth £1,000 for undergraduate students joining an English and Creative Writing course starting in September 2026. These scholarships are available for all UK fee payers students enrolling on eligible courses for the first time in the 2026/27 academic year. The scholarship will be paid in three instalments at the end of December 2026, March 2027 and May 2027. There is no application process required - students will automatically be entitled to the scholarship if they enrol on an eligible course. To claim one of these scholarships, students must be confirmed as a UK fee payer, successfully secure a place on one of the eligible courses in September 2026, and enrol at BCU and begin their studies in September 2026. Eligible courses include BA (Hons) English and Creative Writing, BA (Hons) English and Journalism, BA (Hons) English Language and Literature, BA (Hons) English Literature, and BA (Hons) Creative Writing.
