English Study Abroad Scholarship

The English Study Abroad Scholarship is awarded to full-time students at Eastern Illinois University who have a declared major in English or English Language Arts and have applied for an EIU study abroad program led by faculty from the English Department for the summer session. Financial need is considered in the selection process. This scholarship supports students in pursuing international educational experiences that enhance their academic development in English studies. The award is announced in the Spring semester and disbursed during the following Summer semester when the recipient participates in their study abroad trip.
