Enhanced Business School Research Scholarship

The Enhanced Business School Research Scholarship (EBSRS) has been developed to support outstanding Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree students within The University of Sydney Business School. The scholarship provides a minimum annual stipend of $50,207 (RTP rate plus $10,000 per annum) for up to 3.5 years, with the possibility to extend to four years subject to approval. For international students, academic tuition fees are also covered for the duration of the scholarship. Recipients receive a base stipend of $40,109 per year indexed annually, plus the opportunity to receive at least $10,000 per year for carrying out specific teaching and/or research duties. The scholarship is designed to support full-time postgraduate research students who are applying to commence a PhD or Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree at the University of Sydney Business School. Note: From 2025, this scholarship has been replaced by the Business School Research Scholarship.
