About This Opportunity

The Environment Graduate Student Award provides financial support valued at up to $10,000 to eligible graduate students registered full-time in any master's or doctoral program in the Faculty of Environment at the University of Waterloo. Students must be in good academic standing and will be nominated for the award by their Graduate Officer or Program Director with final approval made by the Associate Dean, Graduate Studies in the Faculty of Environment. This scholarship is available across multiple programs within the Faculty of Environment, including Environment, Enterprise & Development, Environment, Resources & Sustainability, Geography & Environmental Management, and Planning. The award is open to both Canadian/permanent residents and international students with study permits. Students will normally be in the first year of their program and must maintain a minimum overall grade of B+ or equivalent. No application is required as students are automatically selected by the Faculty/Department through nomination. The award can be applied to any term including Winter, Spring, or Fall.
