About this opportunity
EPSRC Doctoral Landscape Awards (previously known as Doctoral Training Partnership awards) enables departments to support doctoral students across a wide range of Engineering and Physical Science research areas. Due to the flexible nature of the Landscape funding, the number of studentships available each year vary as Departments may leverage other funding opportunities, e.g. with Industry Partners, Colleges and other University funding. Studentships are fully-funded at the Home fee rate and UKRI stipend level. Funding for consumable costs, and training (which is an integral part of all doctoral studentships), are also provided. Up to 30% of our awards may be made to international students. Students from groups currently underrepresented in Engineering and Physical Science subjects are particularly encouraged to apply. Funding is only available for specific projects, which are listed on the Cambridge jobs website. DLA students have access to a Research Training Support Grant (RTSG) of up to £1,500 per year, to cover project-specific consumables and equipment.
