Equine Foundation of Canada Ruth Younie Memorial Scholarship

The Equine Foundation of Canada Ruth Younie Memorial Scholarship supports students pursuing equine veterinary medicine at the University of Calgary. Offered annually to continuing undergraduate students entering fourth year in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine who have chosen the Equine Area of Health Emphasis. The scholarship recognizes academic merit, performance in Equine Medicine and Surgery (VETM 521), and involvement in the equine community. The purpose of this award aligns with the Equine Foundation of Canada's mission to aid in the health and welfare of horses by encouraging and supporting future veterinarians specializing in equine care.
