Equine Foundation of Canada/George F. Wade Memorial Scholarship

The Equine Foundation of Canada/George F. Wade Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a DVM student at the Atlantic Veterinary College who is entering the fourth year of the program and majoring in equine studies. The scholarship will be awarded to a student based on academic achievement and financial need. The Equine Foundation of Canada (formerly the Morgan Foundation) has had a proud and productive 40 year history. The Foundation's contributions to the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) at the University of Prince Edward Island have been significant. Its support has provided for many research efforts and has assisted numerous AVC students in their equine veterinary medicine careers. In the summer of 2021, the Equine Foundation of Canada continued its support through the creation of this scholarship as a tribute to George Wade who was the visionary for the Equine Foundation of Canada.
