About This Opportunity

Erasmus+ provides students at the University of Gothenburg the opportunity to conduct part of their education at bachelor's, master's, or doctoral level at one of the university's partner universities in Europe, or to apply for scholarships for internships abroad. Most subject-specific exchange placements offered within Europe are within the framework of the Erasmus program. Students nominated for an exchange within Europe typically receive an Erasmus scholarship for their exchange studies. The scholarship is designed to help offset the higher living costs associated with studying abroad in European countries. Students can receive the scholarship multiple times within Erasmus, but the total scholarship period must not exceed 12 months per educational level (bachelor's, master's, or doctoral level), including both studies and internships. Studies within the Erasmus program must be conducted as full-time studies, and students must be registered for courses at the host university corresponding to a full-time study pace. It is the host university's definition of full-time studies that applies, which is usually 30 credits per semester. Students must be registered at the University of Gothenburg at the time of application.
