The Eric Horatio Maclean Scholarship is a postgraduate coursework scholarship established in 2023 using bequest funds donated by Eric Horatio Maclean. The scholarship is intended to support students enrolled in the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program in the Faculty of Science at the University of Sydney. The scholarship is awarded based on academic merit and demonstrated financial hardship via the UAC Equity Scholarship. Recipients must be Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents, or New Zealand citizens commencing or currently enrolled full-time in the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine within the Sydney School of Veterinary Science. To maintain the scholarship, recipients must maintain a minimum Semester Average Mark (SAM) of 65 each semester. The scholarship provides financial support to help students complete their veterinary medicine studies over the four-year duration of the program.
