Eric S. Horvath Memorial Scholarship Fund

The Eric S. Horvath Memorial Scholarship Fund was created at The Pittsburgh Foundation in memory of Eric, a Bethel Park High School athlete full of life, blessed with a great personality and winning smile, who tragically lost his young life in a drowning accident weeks after his graduation. This scholarship honors his memory by supporting graduating seniors at Bethel Park High School who are members of the football team. The scholarship provides financial support to help student-athletes pursue their educational goals at accredited vocational or technical trade schools, or 2- or 4-year colleges or universities. The fund recognizes the commitment and dedication of student-athletes who balanced academics and athletics during their high school years.
