Eric Schuster Scholarship

The Eric Schuster Scholarship supports undergraduate students majoring in Journalism at Eastern Illinois University who have demonstrated commitment to newspaper journalism through substantial work at The Daily Eastern News. The scholarship is designed for freshman or transfer students in good academic standing who have earned 12 to 18 credit hours at Eastern. Preference is given to culturally diverse and under-represented students, though this is not mandated. Recipients must demonstrate financial need and may only receive the award one time. The award is announced in the Spring semester and disbursed the following Fall semester.
