Eric Stanley Hillis Memorial Award

Awarded annually to a student graduating from the Bachelor of Education program who, in the opinion of the Dean, shows the most promise of inspirational teaching. This award honors Eric Stanley Hillis, who was a lecturer in teacher education at the University of Prince Edward Island from 1967 until 1971. Eric was deeply committed to teacher education and coordinated research in this field at the Atlantic Institute of Education. The award recognizes students who demonstrate exceptional potential to inspire future generations of learners through their teaching practice and dedication to education.
