Ernest and Janis Hoffman Family Scholarship

The Ernest and Janis Hoffman Family Scholarship supports full-time students in the School of Business at Eastern Illinois University, with preference given to juniors and seniors majoring in Management with a concentration in Human Resources Management. The scholarship requires recipients to maintain a GPA of at least 3.3 and submit a resume along with a brief essay describing their work ethic, personal values, and motivation to make a difference in their career. Geographic preference is given to students from Bloomington High School (Illinois), any other public or private high school in Bloomington or Normal, Illinois, any high school in McLean County, Illinois, and any high school within the State of Illinois. While financial need can be considered, academic record has higher priority. The award is announced in the spring and awarded in the fall. Recipients may be eligible to apply for the award again in subsequent years provided they continue to meet the criteria. This renewable scholarship supports business students pursuing careers in management and human resources.
