About This Opportunity

The Ernest Heine Family Foundation Digital Music Scholarship is a $20,000 per annum scholarship established in 2023 to support undergraduate students studying digital music at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music at the University of Sydney. The scholarship provides financial support for up to four years for students enrolled in the Bachelor of Music program, specifically studying in the Digital Music and Media Program. Recipients who demonstrate financial need or disadvantage and/or are from rural or regional areas may receive an additional cash payment of up to $18,000 per annum to help cover accommodation expenses. The scholarship is awarded based on academic merit, a personal statement, and audition or interview, with preference given to applicants from rural or regional areas and/or those who can demonstrate financial need or disadvantage. Recipients must maintain a minimum SAM of 70 each semester and submit six-monthly progress reports. They are also required to meet with the grantor annually for the duration of the award.
