About this opportunity
The Ernest William Capp Scholarship is made available by the generous bequest of the late Ernest William Capp. The scholarship is designed to assist the education of students who experience financial hardship and other circumstances that impact their education, who demonstrate the will to succeed. This scholarship provides up to $700 as a one-off payment to diploma and degree students at RMIT University who can demonstrate circumstances which impact their study. The scholarship is available to students enrolled full-time in semester 1 and 2 in a diploma or undergraduate degree program. Applicants must demonstrate financial hardship (such as receiving a government tested low income benefit or having a Centrelink Health Care Card) and circumstances which impact their ability to study, such as living with a disability, experiencing personal/family/social difficulties, being from a rural/regional area, being in foster care, or being from an under-represented background. Applicants must also demonstrate outstanding potential and ambition, academic or otherwise, and have at least one year of their program left to complete.
