Errett and Mazie Warner Athletic Award

The Errett and Mazie Warner Athletic Award is a scholarship for student-athletes at Eastern Illinois University who demonstrate academic excellence and outstanding character. The award recipient must be a participant in the Intercollegiate Athletics Program at Eastern Illinois University with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (B average or more). The recipient must be a person of outstanding character whose actions and conduct reflect with credit upon Eastern Illinois University. Financial need is considered, but only after the pool of candidates is reduced to the final three choices. The award is announced in the spring semester and awarded in the fall semester, with the amount varying based on available funds.
