Errett and Mazie Warner History Award

The Errett and Mazie Warner History Award is a scholarship for junior and senior students majoring in History at Eastern Illinois University. The award recognizes students of outstanding character whose actions and conduct reflect with credit upon EIU. Recipients must demonstrate outstanding scholastic achievement with a minimum of a 'B' average (3.0 GPA). Financial need is considered as a final criterion only after the number of recipients is reduced to three by application of the other stated criteria. Recipients may be eligible to apply for the award again provided they continue to meet the stated requirements. The award is announced and paid in the Spring semester.
