Errett and Mazie Warner Secondary Education Award

The Errett and Mazie Warner Secondary Education Award is a scholarship for students pursuing majors in Secondary Education at Eastern Illinois University. The award recognizes students who demonstrate outstanding scholastic achievement with a minimum B average (3.0 GPA) and exhibit exceptional character that reflects positively on the university. Financial need is considered as a final criterion after the pool of applicants has been narrowed to three finalists. The scholarship is designed to support the next generation of secondary educators across various subject areas including art, business, science, language arts, mathematics, social studies, physical education, special education, and more. This award can be disbursed in Fall semester only or split between Fall and Spring semesters.
