About This Opportunity
The ESE Undergraduate Financial Bursary is a financial support program offered by the Department of Earth Science and Engineering at Imperial College London for undergraduate students. The bursary provides £2,000 per year to eligible students who meet specific widening participation criteria. This includes care leavers, students from areas with high levels of deprivation (IMD quintile 1), and students from low participation areas (POLAR4 quintiles 1 or 2) who also meet additional criteria such as being first-generation university students, attending schools with low key-stage 5 performance, or schools with high free school meals percentiles. The scholarship aims to support students from underrepresented backgrounds pursuing undergraduate degrees in Earth Science and Engineering. Ten awards are available for the 2024/2025 academic year to prospective students with home fee status studying full-time.
