About this opportunity
The Esherick-Ye Foundation Fellowship supports graduate students and untenured faculty members conducting research on modern Chinese history or the archaeology of China at a university or college. The Foundation provides funding to enable research projects that contribute to our knowledge of modern Chinese economic, social, and political history or the archaeology of ancient China. Awards are made annually through a competitive application process evaluated by the Foundation Board of Directors. The fellowship aims to support the next generation of China scholars in conducting meaningful research, particularly in contexts that may involve archival or field work in China.
