eSports Level Up Scholarship

Eastern Illinois University offers one-of-a-kind Level Up scholarships for eSports enthusiasts who have the potential to lead and contribute to the eSports community. The program seeks individuals who can compete and contribute to a healthy and positive gaming environment in registered student organizations and in the university's eSports arena. These scholarships increase each year as faculty advisors affirm the recipients' commitment to contributing to the eSports community through leadership, coaching, mentorship, sportsmanship and peer support. Recipients may be eligible to receive the scholarship for up to 4 years, with the opportunity to 'Level Up' 3 times. Level 1 scholarships are announced in the Spring and disbursed in the following Fall semester. Level Up recipients may apply for renewal each year between November 1 and August 30, requiring completion of a supplemental question demonstrating dedication to the eSports team and community.
