Estranged Students Bursary

The Estranged Students Bursary is a financial support program for students at Oxford Brookes University who are irreconcilably estranged from both parents. This bursary provides £2,000 per academic year to eligible full-time undergraduate students under the age of 25. The funding aims to support estranged students who are recognized by Student Finance England as having independent status due to their lack of contact with biological, adoptive, or only living parents. The bursary is paid in two equal installments of £1,000, typically in November and February. Applications must be received during the academic year, and no retrospective payments are made for previous years of study.
