The starting grant within educational sciences is a career development grant aimed at junior researchers who wish to establish themselves as independent researchers in Sweden. The grant provides support for four years with funding between 400,000 and 1,000,000 SEK per year. Applicants must have completed their doctoral degree more than 2 years but no more than 7 years before the application deadline. The funding can cover all project-related costs including salaries (including own salary), facilities, operational costs, and depreciation costs. The budget includes compensation for indirect costs. The grant aims to support researchers in developing their independent research line within educational sciences.
