About this opportunity
Each year, the ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS) may offer a number of awards known as the Ethel Tory Language Grant for Australian Indigenous, European and Middle Eastern Languages. The objective of the Award is to provide funds to cover documented travel costs for eligible students undertaking full-time language study outside Australia, or full-time study of Australian Indigenous Languages within Australia. It supports the study of Australian Indigenous, European, and Middle Eastern languages. Funding for this Award has been provided by the Ethel Tory Endowment Fund. The value of the Award is $3,000 AUD per annum, paid as a once-off payment. The recipient is responsible for organising their passport, visa if travelling internationally, insurance, and other costs involved in travel with undertaking the opportunity.
